East Pictures was established in 2009 as a start-up project. It identifies and uses opportunities that emerge in the process of creating film projects' value through evaluation and acquisition of commercial projects as well as structuring and managing film production and distribution. East Pictures was the financial investor for 'Ciacho' by Patryk Vega. This project is a reference for the company’s further activity.
The Board decided to enter the New Connect market of the Warsaw Stock Exchange under the slogan 'Connecting film & capital'. It wanted to stress that the company aims at establishing new structure for financing future film projects. The company intends to use debt capital, especially bonds, for raising funds for future film projects. It will therefore invest in films and draw profits from their exploitation. East Pictures is a joint-stock company with a separate Board and Supervisory Board.
